How to read a card

The card is the deed: field it in campaign, hold it in your vault, or trade it in the Auction House. Everything on the plate means something — the specimen below is live, so hover the crest and the stats for the field manual, and click to see the reverse.

i
Classification

The frame is the tier. No badge, no star count — the colour of the plate carries the rank, seven steps from bone Common to gold Transcendent.

ii
Issue index

Top right — the card's position within its set, e.g. 03 / 07.

iii
Class crest

The hex sigil names the asset class. Hover it for the class doctrine.

iv
Designation

The asset's name and its issuing division cipher — VBN · Vanguard Battalion.

v
Combat ledger

Five stats, scored 0–100: Attack · Defense · Blast · Armor Pen · Range. Hover any figure for its definition.

vi
Serial

The issue number, printed on both faces. It is the asset's identity in your vault and at auction — no two issues share one.

vii
The reverse

Click to flip: the antler crown, the classification, the serial. From Epic upward the plate carries refraction foil — tilt it through the light.

02

The deck

All thirty-three issues of Series I. Portrait plates belong to the Special class — war-frames, operators and autogenics. Every card is live.
